Meet the Teacher/Blogger

Hi everyone!  As we start a new school year, I loved the idea of Falling Into First blogger linking a "meet the teacher/blogger".  

So here is just a little background info on me.  I am married to a wonderful, WONDERFUL man!  We just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary not too long ago!  He's is in the Air National Guard, so my family is a part of that family as well.  We have 3 kids, all pretty young still.  A 7 yr old girl, a 4 year old boy, and a 2 yr old boy.  I love being a mom!  They are my world!!

We recently went to Florida for a family vacation.  I don't tan, peeps, just burn as you can see in my pic.  :)

I have taught for 14 yrs now.  I have taught one yr as a resource teacher, I have taught 5th grade for 5 yrs and moved down to Kindergarten (I know--big jump, right? )  where I have taught for 7 yrs now!!!!    

 THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...

Coffee cups--I'm a collector of cute coffee cups.  Leads to Dunkin' Donuts coffee, then.  Also, Sharpies, cotton/Linen scent, those carbonated flavored waters, comfy clothes, & book stores.

 IF YOU WEREN'T A TEACHER, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO BE?

A Beach Bum, for sure!!!!  :)  But if I had to still work...I guess I'd be an interior decorator.  Love me my HGTV!!

Depends who you are asking I suppose.  I'm very private until you are in my inner circle.  So, I guess I'd say private, honest, and a little silly.

My previously spoken of "inner circle" would HAVE to be there. I'm not a big celebrity stalker AT ALL, but I love Scandal and Grey's Anatomy, so maybe if both casts come could that would be pretty darn awesome!

 Hmmm, I'd have to go with being able to freeze things.  The world and time goes by WAY too quickly!!

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away"--that's my serious, thought provoking quote.  
But for some reason this summer, you could catch me saying "haters gonna hate" quite often.  :-)

 Oh Geez.  NOT a public singer, but boy do I rock it out in my car!  I guess I'd go with "Home"

A morning person is when I am most productive. (minus summers)

Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE RESOURCE THAT YOU'VE CREATED IN YOUR TPT SHOP?

I think I really like my Interactive Alphabet Notebooks.  They are new this year, so I am very excited to try them out with my class.

Q: SHARE SOMETHING WE MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU! 

I have a weird OCD about my counters always having to be cleaned and free of clutter.  It drives me MAD when they are full of stuff.
